Be prepared to walk away from your ideas

From time to time we all find ourselves in situations that at first seem like fantastic ideas and great opportunities, but then turn sour and move away from our first impressions.

The same goes for creating content – we often jot down ideas, notes, concepts that we think will make great pieces of content that our audience will love. On closer inspection, some of these ideas may be brilliant but may also be completely irrelevant for our audiences.

It’s vital to know when to walk away from our great ideas in order to better serve our audience; creating great content means nothing if it doesn’t serve to deepen your relationship with the people who matter most to you. (Tweet this)
