Pomodoro changed my life
Set a timer for 25 minutes.
Choose something to work on.
When the alarm sounds, set a timer for 5 minutes, get up from your desk, work station or whatever task you’re embroiled in and walk around, stretch, put some cups in the dishwasher – anything different.
When the alarm sounds, set a time for 25 minutes.
Choose something to work on – it can be the same as the last period or something different.
When the alarm goes off, set a timer for 5 minutes and step away.
Repeat this twice more and when you’ve hit the 2 hour mark (4 cycles of 25/5), reset the timer for a 25 minute break and walk away to do something completely different: cooking, cleaning, reading, watching TV, anything at all.

This is the Pomodoro technique and it changed my life. I am never so productive as when I work in 25 minute blocks and force myself to break away for 5 minutes in every 30.
