All good things come to an end.
I’m not sure who said it, but it’s true. It’s equally true that bad things end, too.
“Everything will be alright in the end. And if it’s not alright, it’s not the end.”
Recognising and preparing for endings is what makes them palatable, what helps us to be contented with them no matter the results. It’s when things end out of the blue that it hurts us.
An ending is just the beginning of something new.
If a good thing ends suddenly, it’s the beginning of a bad thing. But that bad thing, too, will end, and good things will come again.
