On consistency

Earlier this year Seth Godin posted his 5,000th blog post. That’s an enormous number. That’s more than 13 years’ worth of daily posts.

Seth reached this milestone (and the epic size of audience he now attracts) because he’s consistent: he shows up every day with quality content that speaks to his audience clearly and concisely, in addition to the books he publishes.

Consistency isn’t just about regularity, either. You have to be consistently good at what you do as well.

You don’t need to show up everyday (on your blog at least), but you do have to show up consistently if you want to achieve any level of success.
